Family circumstances at home in England mean that, unfortunately, my wife Pauline and I now have to sell our property in Italy. Having lived there for a number of years we have more recently used it for holidays whenever we can get away.

The property consists of a partially refurbished Farmhouse and a fully furnished "Garage" situated in the province of Abbruzzo, set in approximately 1500 sq metres of beautiful rural countryside with outstanding valley views of open fields and adjacent mature olive groves.

Just two miles from the small market town of Bellante and a 20 minute drive from the blue flag beaches of Giulianova and Tortoreto on the Adriatic coast.

The site, which is just under 1500 sq mtrs, is accessed via a white road with the commune responsible for its maintenance.

There is planning permission for a brick built gated entrance adjacent to the existing feature flower retaining wall separating the property from the local farmer's olive grove on the northern boundary, whilst the other three borders are open to the surrounding fields.

A partially restored Farmhouse approximately 130 years old, Geometra inspected and approved as structurally sound and in excellent condition throughout.

In total it consists of 180 square metres on two floors and would be ideal for renovation to either a spacious four bedroom family home with planning permission for a swimming pool or a B& B/Restaurant.

Together with a traditionally styled newly built “Garage”, constructed to eartyhquacke resistance standard, with double bedroom, through lounge and kitchen/dining area fully furnished throughout. With both central heating and air conditioning, fitted lockable shutters and double glazing.

Where We Are

Our farmhouse and "Garage" property for sale is situated just outside the small market town of Bellante in the heart of the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine growing area and just twenty minutes drive from the Adriatic coastal resorts of Giulianova and Tortoreto.

With regular flights to Rome from various airlines in the UK and then onward either by coach or train to Giulianova, or approximately a two and half hour journey by car.

Flights are also available from Stansted with Ryanair to either Ancona to the north or Pescara in the south, both less than an hour away by car.

There are also regular car ferries from Ancona to nearby Croatia and the Greek Islands.
